Biographical Information

Boydton is located in the middle southern most part of Virginia, and is the county seat for Mecklenburg County. We have recreations that include:

Fishing, Swimming, Camping, & Golf. Shopping is not far from Raleigh N.C., Richmond Va., or Danville Va. Mecklenburg County borders Kerr Lake, and Lake Gaston. Kerr Lake has over 738 miles of shoreline alone making it a boating and fishing heaven. Add the rolling hills and the good-natured inhabitants and you will find a combination that will keep you coming back year after year!
