Located in charming Clarksville, Virginia, on Buggs Island Lake, this most challenging course was featured in the Virginia Golf and Triad Golf Magazines, and ranks first in a poll taken among the golfers in Southside Virginia.

The average temperature in Clarksville is 65 degrees making Kinderton ideal for all year golf outings.

With its quiet, uncomplicated ambiance, Kinderton offers the visiting golfer hassel-free and quick access for an exceptional round of golf

Particularly challenging is Number 6--393 yards par 4. "The Monster" appropriately called by everyone who plays it. One of the toughest par fours in the state. Big lake requires 210 yards over water carry for proper position for second shot, which is blind to elevated green, trapped left and right. OUt of bounds to right and over green.

Also deceptive is Number 8--211 yards par 3. Excellent par 3 hold and one of the prettiest anywhere. Elevated tee overlooks lake midway. Topped shots ends up in water. Tee shot must be played to left as traps protect right approach.
